Overview

Start your career now as an Industrial Instrument Fitter Apprentice. You’ll get the hands-on practice you need to start in the plants as a top helper.

Class includes 70% Hands-on Instrument Fitter/Tubing Bender training as well as 30% Knowledge-based lecture; more performance based than theoretical.

Study material and drawings for interpretation is included in the course fee.

FAQs 

Do I need to bring anything to class?
Tools will be provided including tape measures and hand benders for tubing. You may want to bring a notebook and pen for taking notes.
Will you provide study materials?
The course includes classroom time as well as hands-on instruction. In addition, we have study guides and quizzes you can use on your phone or computer to study at home.

Students will also be given access to our private group class chat, where you can connect with instructors and classmates to ask questions.

What if I don't pass the exams?
The hands-on portion of the exam is ongoing, and the instructors will evaluate you and make corrections when necessary.

The Knowledge exam is a proctored online test. If you don’t pass, you will be given the opportunity to retest after 24 hours, but you will have to pay for an additional test fee.

Flexible payment options are available! Put $500 down to hold your seat and then pay 10 weekly payments of $200, or choose your payment and pay over time with Affirm.
Class must be paid in full before graduation, no refunds once class begins.

Requirements

  • No experience necessary
  • Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required, other PPE will be provided.
